Personalized Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities

As part of their work in the Nordic Council’s Committee on Disability the Nordic Welfare Centre and the Finnish institute for Health and Welfare (THL) in 2021 did a joint study om use of personal budgeting as a model for personalized support in the Nordic countries.

“This study and others like it are crucial” says Sif Holst. “It contributes to the understanding that independent living is not only a right for persons with disabilities but also perfectly feasible economically.” Read the rapport here (scroll down on the page for English text version).
