In November 2011 a delegation from the Indonesian Ombudsman Institution met with Sif Holst to discuss the rights of people with disabilities and the work against discrimination of people with disabilities.
Sif Holst gave a presentation on how she as vice-chair of Disabled Peopleโs Organisations Denmark works to implement the CRPD. Using the work on Accessibility and Universal Design as an example. Creating new solutions together, challenging students from for example the Royal School of Architecture, engineering students from DTU, design students from Kolding Design School and talking with building constructors.
How she works together with civil society to ensure better work for all, fitness for all and nature for all and bringing focus to health inequality. And how important it is to also work on an international level, inspiring each other and securing the rights of the CRPD.
